Just finished chapter 11. It came out to 13 pages long, sitting at 3,050 words. This is my longest chapter to date. I cried as I wrote it. It is a very emotionally intense chapter, but the last couple have all been very emotional. I hope that when I release this chapter that it can touch many hearts and someone can relate to it.

As I am writing chapter 11, I have come to the conclusion that it might end up being my longest chapter yet. I'm nowhere near done writing it and its already sitting at over 1200 words. This chapter is looking to be maybe a 3000 word chapter.

The Last Marigold will not be updated until Oct 1st. I am sorry that it will be so long, but I need to give myself time to work on the story without the worry of pushing out content every week. My plan is to get to 50,000 words(30,000 to go) before I release the next chapter. If that plan happens before Oct 1st, then I will start releasing earlier. Please be patient with me and I will still be on here to chat and interact with stories so I'm not gone completely. By the time I reach 50,000 words I should be almost done with the story so be ready for weekly updates after that that will finish the book.

I also just wanted to make a little self appreciation post. Never would I thought that I would have actually gotten this far with my novel, I tend to give up when I get stuck and move onto something new. But as of last night when I posted chapter 10, I hit a major goal for myself which was 20,000 words which is the minimum for a YA novel. I couldn't be happier and am super excited for future chapters and can't wait to see where this takes me. Also huge shoutout and thank you to the only person on here who has kept me going by supporting every chapter and has become such an amazing friend, @desreadsandwrites .
