Hi y'all <3 
          	
          	Not sure how many of you will see this, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be phasing away from Wattpad. I know I haven't posted in a while, so from the outside it won't seem too different, but I still wanted to let you know.
          	
          	A lot of the changes in the Wattpad app these last couple of years have made it so that I don't enjoy writing or reading on here as much as I used to (I can't even preview drafts of *my own writing* without getting an ad between each chapter and I hate that they got rid of DMs, amongst other issues). But enough complaining. 
          	
          	Some reassurance:
          	
          	I don't plan on taking down any of the stories I've already published, because people are still commenting on them (which I take to mean people still enjoy them). I'll also check for comments occasionally, so I won't be 100% gone. 
          	
          	All this being said, I wanted to give you all an explanation before going on hiatus indefinitely. 
          	
          	I might start posting new works somewhere else, so if anyone wants to see what I'm working on in the future, let me know. I've gotten into some new fandoms and they honestly make me super happy.

Happy Holidays everyone! I was thinking about writing and fandoms and stuff the other day, and now I'm curious- what are your major fandoms? (Esp if it's something other than WoF, bc I'm guessing that if you're here you love dragons lol).
          
          For me, I've been playing a lot of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom recently, and really love the game's lore.

@DragonCats098 Awwww thank you for checking on me <3 School this past year has been pretty hectic and I havent had a lot of time for my own personal projects, hence why I've been away from Wattpad for a while. 
            
            Actually working on some new stuff over break! It's for a different fandom than WoF though, so I dont know if people would be interested/if I'll post it here. (And also dont want to say too much right now in case I lose motivation bc I've told too many specifics).

I'm thinking about making a webcomic but they're SO time consuming. If I did (and maybe posted WIP pictures here to Wattpad) would any of y'all be interested? 
          
          Disclaimer: it would NOT be WoF related. It would be an original story and I'd probably post the final thing to Webtoon (if I made enough content for that)

Hi, love your work that I've read, but can I ask: how did your works get to be so successful? Is there some way you advertise your fanfics that I'm missing?

@LordSamaron from what I've experienced, no real trick except patience. I took a look at your tags and it looked like you've got a good selection. The one thing that might boost would be a revamped cover- it's not a hard and fast rule by any means, but I think the WoF fandom especially likes official looking covers/covers w the official title format. If you want any advice regarding digital art, feel free to dm me <3

@LordSamaron Hi! There might be a way to advertise fics, but I've never used it :) 
            
            I think the trick for me was finding an active fandom and then writing a story I really enjoyed. Part of it is also definitely patience- I started writing "The Forgotten Dragonets," my most popular story, in 2016, but it wasn't until 2020 that it broke into the top 10 for any of its tags.
