If you ever feel like you don't have a purpose, or if you aren't wanted, or if nobody even wants you:

          Revelation 4:11
“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” (NKJV)

God wanted you to exist. That's why he made you. And God doesn't make trash, He makes beautiful things. Its evil things that mess it all up.

And God made you because He wanted to.
And God has a plan for Your life, and it may be strange, peculiar, the most wonderful life ever or a tough rough and downtrodden life but listen -- God isn't done with you yet.

He sent His Son Jesus to die for You. And Jesus rose from the dead for you. And Jesus loves you very much, that why He died that horrid death in the first place.

And now you don't have to live in wrongdoing anymore. You don't have to go it alone anymore. You don't have to sit there and go through the motions of life wondering, "am I really doing anything? Am I really worth anything?"

GirlBlessed7

Because Jesus thinks you're to die for.

All that stuff you did, that secret (or known) addiction, those thoughts that tear you up, that health issue (mental, physical, emotional), that bad relationship, those painful moments and memories --
Ask God to forgive you for all that stuff you did. Every wrongdoing. He will, if you're sincere. Believe that Jesus did what He said He did -- died and rose again. Accept Him as Lord over your life (yes that means giving up control and yes that may sound scary or difficult but BELIEVE ME its worth it.) God is wholly good and without lies, without deceit, without bad intentions or malice.

He loves you. You exist because God wanted, He WANTED you to exist. And all the crappy stuff in your life doesn't take away from the fact that God still has a plan. The crappy stuff might be part of it. You could be an advocate for people going through the same stuff later. You could be a foster parent. You could be a therapist or sports star or actor or a waitress but you can make a difference in all these roles.

I love ya. God loves you. And please love yourself.

Walk By Faith -- Jeremy Camp

Let me tell you a story, after all, that's what this platform is for!

Once upon a time, there was a woman in court for ramming into the back of someone else's car. First of all, she lied to her child about where she was going. Then she got behind the wheel, drunk, and took off at thirty miles over the speed limit. The owner of the car was right next to her.

The judge walks in. He is a sight to behold: His face radiates Justice and Fairness, complete and utter Honesty, and absolute Wisdom. He moves with the confidence of a truly Righteous being. His stature is large, He is intimidating, He is to be feared.

After all, thinks the woman, this Judge will determine my entire future.

The Judge sits on His seat, and examines everything. It comes to light that the man she rammed into is a horrible murderer, and no one had been able to catch him before now.

The woman thinks, oh! Maybe the Judge will forget about me, I mean, I'm just here for a little car wreck, but this man is a murderer!

The Judge turns to the woman and says, "Woman, neither you nor this man will escape My Judgement here. In My Eyes, you have committed a crime as well. You lied to your own flesh, you drank in such excess that you could not think straight, you made the decision to endanger your life and the lives of others by handling a vehicle, and you damaged someone else's property. And now that someone you say is worse than you has come before Me, you say I will forget your crimes. Not so! You will both pay the penalty for your sins, you for yours and he for his. Now throw them outside, where there is both weeping and gnashing of teeth!"

And the woman trembled in fear of her punishment.

(Continue for the rest of the story...)

GirlBlessed7

Her child learned of her mother's sentence from a man who had heard what happened. But the child didn't believe it.

The child followed in her mother's footsteps and lived a life marked by lies, by drunkenness, and by a lack of care for others.
She grew up and had a son of her own. Her husband was left trying to cope with her crazy lifestyle, and her son felt no pride in her.

One day, she stood in the doorway of her son's bedroom and told him she was going out to pick up pizza: a lie. She was going to pick up alcohol for herself.
So she went, drank, and started back home.

The husband receives a phone call from a voice he doesn't recognize: it's a nurse, calling to inform him that his wife was sitting in a hospital bed, her car was sitting in a junkyard, and an unscathed man was sitting in the police station filing a report against her.

The child thought back to how her mother's life ended up. She realized she was a hair's breadth away from ending up the same way. She also thought back to what the man had told her. He hadn't been in the courtroom, so how did he know?

How did he know? Do you know how he knew?
The Bible says, "As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;" therefore, there is no one who can escape their sentence on their own. And the sentence is Hell. Eternal torture and pain.

But Jesus walked into the Courtroom of God,
            saw all our crimes,
            all of our sins,
and paid the price for us.
So now, God can legally let us all walk out of the courtroom as free men and women.

Yes, our physical bodies will still die. But our soul will rise to eternal life in Heaven with a God who loves us. Do you know how much He loves you? Imagine having a best friend who would give up their child to save your life. That may seem very odd to you, but listen...
            God loves you that much.

            Oh, and get this --

            Jesus isn't dead.
            He is alive.

3 days after He died on the cross, He defeated death and sin, and rose from the grave.

So I feel the need to say something.

First of all, God loves you. God loves you so much that He sent His literal Son to die a humiliating and painful death for you. He knows what it means to lose someone important. So He definitely cares about your pain and hurt, whatever it may be.

Second, God's Son isn't dead anymore. Jesus came back from the dead 3 days after He died. A whole bunch of people saw Him alive in the flesh, they touched Him, talked to Him, and yes, some doubted if it was true. But it is true.
And that's why we have hope. Death lost all its power that day.

Third, you don't have to fear anything. Now, I'll be the first to tell you that I am a worrier, an anxiety-ridden, fearful person at times. But I don't have to be. And I'm trying to be better.
Because God is all-powerful, nothing can defeat Him. Because Jesus rose from the dead, death cannot do anything to us. Because God sends His Holy Spirit to us, we don't have to wander around lost. God's Presence is with us, and its a wonderful feeling.

Now, what exactly does all this mean? What's the point of it all? Why did God send Jesus in the first place?

Because we are very broken, very hurting, very sinful people. We lie, and we cheat, and we steal, and we murder, and we do strange, unnatural things, and we ignore and insult God. And because God is holy, he cannot be around something unholy. We've damaged our relationship with God-- in fact, we've snapped it in two.

So, because of all the garbage we've gotten ourselves into, God gives us a wage: He pays us death for our sins. That is our payment, that is our punishment. On Judgement Day, God will find us guilty.

Hell is in the sinner's future. Whatever happened to you in this life, Hell is worse.

          (Continue for the Good News.)

GirlBlessed7

So God sent Jesus, and Jesus willingly went. Think of it this way: each sin you've committed, every lie, every hate, every act of cruelty; each one is a ticket that you have to go to court to pay the fine. The fine is too high, however. We will never be able to pay it.

So here's what Jesus did: Jesus walked into the Courtroom of God, saw all our tickets, and paid our fine. So now, God can legally let us all walk out of the courtroom as free men and women.

Jesus died, so we wouldn't have to.
Well, our bodies will die, but after that, we have eternal everlasting life with peace and happiness.

But a lot of people choose to stay in the courtroom and wait for Judgement. They don't care that their fine has been paid, or they simply can't find the exit door.

Beloved, the exit door is this:
Be sorry for your sins. Truly, honestly sorry. God will know if you aren't.
Believe that Jesus did what did. He died for you, rose from the tomb, and is watching you even now.
Ask God to forgive you for all that mess you've done. All those sins, those obvious one and those secret ones that only you and Him know about.
He will forgive you if you ask, if you're truly sorry and ask Him.
"God, please. Forgive me for all of that."

And you can finally leave that courtroom, and you can finally live your life as a free person.
            Truly, honestly free.

ok so I saw today's prayer from the KJV Bible app and i just-

"Father God, thank You for the gift of Your Spirit. Thank You for calling me to be a worker in Your Kingdom and for equipping me for the tasks that You've set before me.
Help me to understand my gifts and joyfully embrace my role, so that You may be glorified in all that I do. And use me to encourage others in using their gifts, too. In Jesus' Name I pray, amen."
