A hot take (I think) I feel like some people will flame me for (idk why I’m doing this bored ig)
Channelcaststation is wayy too overglazed. If you don’t know who he is, he’s a really popular animator in the Vocaloid space who has animated the mvs for mesmeriser and retry now and a few others
But why am I talking about this? Well, channel animated the mv for the new yukopi song (idk what it’s called I can’t read the title) and like 95% of the English comments were talking about the animation and not about the song saying stuff like for example ‘omg channel is back! Welcome back channel!’ Yes I understand channels animations are good and he is popular in the community but can we at least give some credit to the song? The song is really well made but instead people are ignoring it like it’s a cosmetic to the animation? The animation wouldnt even exist if it wasn’t for the song!
Popular youtubers in the Vocaloid space are also talking about it giving most of the credit to channel. I think some probably gave a mention to the song but most of it went to channel
I think if channel didn’t animate the video, it wouldnt have the amount of views it has currently, and people wouldnt talk about the song or its mv. I’m pretty sure something like that wouldve also happened to mesmeriser and retry now, it wouldnt be as popular as they are today
Also, I think channel is problematic but I dont really know much about that so I’m not gonna talk about it just incase if I spread misinformation
Oop this is kinda long but I hope this gets my point across. Channel fans please don’t attack me this is just my opinion
(No hate to channel btw I believe he is a good animator and animation does take time but we should give more credit to the songs he animated the mvs for imo)
