@lunarxfic Thank you so much 😭 seriously, this means a lot to me, especially knowing you read the whole thing through. Tariq is definitely not an easy character to love, so hearing that you went from hating him to understanding him by the end is kind of exactly what I hoped would happen. I never wanted the explanation for why he is the way he is to erase the things he did, just make him feel human enough that losing him and losing the possibility of reconciliation would actually hurt.
And the fact that you got emotionally attached to the Nassar brothers as a whole genuinely makes me really happy. That family is still very special to me.
Funny enough, I have considered doing another Nassar story someday — basically redoing Acts 2 and 3 with the same core DNA, but letting things diverge enough that it becomes its own story and some relationships could play out differently. I just haven’t committed to it because I genuinely don’t know if I could do it better than the original
