I'm glad I live on the east coast. The parts of the storm that hit us were scary enough and the devastation it caused on the other side was horrible. Even if you aren't religious, keep those people in your thoughts and prayers.

I've never felt safe or pretty as a woman. As soon as I told my friend my new name, she was so happy that she nearly cried. I'm so happy that she supports my decision and who I am. I could never as for a better friend than her.
