The lack of minority representation and non-sexualized women in media is pretty irritating to me. For that reason, I write neurodivergent characters, intersex characters, transgender characters, non-binary characters, characters of all sexual and romantic orientations, people of color, and women who aren't sexualized. (Plot twist: no cishet white main characters, the only cishet white characters who are allowed to exist generally end up tortured and/or dead, mental illnesses aren't treated as jokes, trans/nb characters are treated as valid, and there are more sexualized men than women.)
