Due to circumstances with my enrollment, I don't think I'll be able to publish the next chap of the Genshin fic this week. It'll have to be moved two weeks from now, so likely somewhere next month.
          
          Sorry guys, hope you understand.

The next Genshin fanfic update will be delayed due to college, as well as me wanting to make it an extra-long chapter, since it's the big climactic showdown of the Mondstadt part, sorry guys.
          
          The Genshin update will come out either next week, or next, next week.

Hello Gloryinwar, a question: what is the Council of 42 and why did the elves turn their backs on their goddess?

@uctres Well, the story of "why" is already summarised pretty nicely in the Starstruck Wanderer book on my profile.
            
            But to give a very brief summary of the matter:
            The Elves conspired to kill their Goddess, Friggidus to obtain and master the art of Alchemy and achieve their ultimate stage of power. Conspiring with a foreign God: Overlord Siegfried, the Kovenant Empire's God of War, they killed Friggidus with Siegfried's aid.
            
            After that, in her dying moments, Friggidus swore a curse on her creation, forcing them to learn and rely on Alchemy or else mutate and turn mad. Thus forcing them to become forever reliant on the thing they stole.
