I'm InRefinement, a time in life that has become my priority. 

Centuries ago academics and other learned activists worked in printing shops because they wanted their ideas in print. Imagine this: prior to six centuries ago these individuals made a few hand-printed copies of their stuff; and of course only a handful of people read it. Then the printing machine came along and printed thousands of copies and the printed word spread to more citizens; and more of us decided that we just had to be readers.
In this century most of our thoughts and ideas are digitized for all to read in an instant. A great many of us need to be writers, and writers (for the most part, but not always) need readers.

This website is a Godsend for those of us who want to say something and want others to read it. 

While I personally lament the changes that have taken place within the Printing Industry we are now published authors because of The Wattpads of the world.
