          FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS A GERARD WAY!!!!
          Increíble ser humano, muy creativo, creador de historias que amamos como The Umbrella Academy o las letras de My Chemical Romance, fundador de esta misma banda, ídolo de masas, ícono de la generación dos-milera, un absoluto ícono del emo, tiene una voz preciosa, sabe hacer desde screamos de black metal (Rōnin) hasta susurros armónicos (The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You), no sabe tocar bien guitarra -ni nadar, ni bailar, ni karate- pero si compuso o tocó algunas partes en sus singles en solista, amo a este artista.
          Proyectó las historias que vivían en su cabeza en su música y cómics, y se entregó completamente al arte. Mi mayor ídolo junto a Billie Joe Armstrong. Y estoy un pelín obsesionada.

          Awesome human being, actually creative, creator of stories that we love such as The Umbrella Academy, o My Chemical Romance's lyrics, fundator of this band, mass idol, icon of the 00s teenage generation, absolute emo icon, he has a precious voice, knows how to do from black metal screams (Rōnin) to melodic whispers (The Jetset Life Is Gonna Kill You), he doesn't know how to play guitar very well -he also can't swim, can't dance and doesn't know karate- but he played or composed some parts in his solo singles, I love this artist.
          He projected the stories that lived in his head in his music and comics, and gave his life completely to art. Mi biggest idol along with Billie Joe Armstrong. And I'm obssesed, a bit.

          FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS A BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG!!!! Él es mi más grande ídolo junto a Gerard Way, ambos me ayudaron a seguir adelante en algunos de mi peores momentos, y sus canciones también me animaron en momentos más felices. Me encanta su voz, mantiene vivo mi amor por tocar la guitarra, y me encanta cómo toca. Hace dos años, el primer CD que compré con mi dinero fue el American Idiot, y no me arrepiento: es mi álbum favorito.
          Si bien tuvo otros proyectos, mi favorito de lejos es Green Day. Las letras de Billie en "Give Me Novocaine" y "Restless Heart Syndrome" me hicieron sentirme escuhcada y calmaron mi pánico, "Jesus Of Suburbia y " Are We The Waiting" se convirtieron en mis himnos, "Burnout" me enseñó que alguien más se estaba "quemando pero no creciendo", "East Jesus Nowhere" me enseñó que se puede criticar a la iglesia (venía de una escuela católica) "Still Breathing" fue la canción que me mantuvo en pie y pensar lo valiente que era mientras me cambiaba de instituto...
          Por esta y otras raozones más, lo amo.
          
          
          HAPPY B-DAY TO BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG!!! He's my biggest idol along with Gerard Way, they both inspired me to carry on in my worst moments, and his songs also lifted me up in my best moments. I love his voice, he alives my love for playing guitar & I love how he plays. Two years ago, the first CD I bought with my money was American Idiot, and I don't regret it, it's my favorite album.
          He had other projects, but my fave one so far is Green Day. I love Billie's lyrics: "Give Me Novocaine" and "Restless Heart Syndrome" made me feel listened and calmed my panic, "Burnout" showed me that someone else was "not growing up, just burning out", "East Jesus Nowhere" showed me that I could criticize the Church (I went from a catholic school), "Jesus Of Suburbia" and "Are We The Waiting" turned into my anthems, and "Still Breathing" was the song that kept me still and showed me how strong I was while I was moving schools.
          For this and more reasons, I love him.

          Y noticia triste: hoy se hace un año de la muerte de Vivianne Westwood. Que decir de ella. Una de las fundadoras del punk, esencial para la estética de esta maravillosa subcultura, revolucionaria que se impuso al sueño americano. Sin ella el punk y la moda no serían lo mismo, el punk habría sido muy diferente. D.E.P.

          And sad news: Today marks a year since Vivianne Westwood's death. What can I say...One of punk's founders, essential for the aesthetic of this wonderful subculture, revolutionary that imposed herself on the American dream. Without her punk and fashion wouldn't be the same, and punk would be really different. R.I.P.
