Biggest pet peeve to this day is Women degrading other women. How are we supposed to prove to men that we are worth the gender equality that we yearn and respect when most of us ladies don't even respect each other. It's sad, really. 
You want gender equality? Start treating eachother with respect. 

Everyone has their own style. So if she's too girly for you, then that's fine, don't kill her buzz. If he's too weak for you, that's ok, don't kill his spirit
