This right here is the Golden Age of Cartoon Network—the era that shaped childhoods and gave us some of the most iconic shows ever. From the brains of Dexter’s Laboratory to the chaos of Ed, Edd n Eddy, and the crime-fighting trio in Powerpuff Girls, these characters weren’t just cartoons; they were family.

Courage taught us bravery (even when terrified), Johnny Bravo taught us confidence (sometimes misplaced), and Cow and Chicken? Well, they were just pure, glorious weirdness. Every show had its own unique vibe, yet they all came together to create this unforgettable lineup that we couldn’t wait to watch after school.

If you remember grabbing a bowl of cereal and settling in for Toonami, Cartoon Cartoons, or a night of non-stop laughter, then you know the magic of this era. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore.

What was your favorite show during Cartoon Network’s golden age? Mine has to be Dexter’s Laboratory—gotta love that “omelette du fromage”!

Kazuki Yao has officially retired from his role as the voice actor for Franky due to health issues. Kazuki Yao is currently 65 years old. In addition to voicing Franky, he also voiced Jango, Bon Clay, and the fake Sogeking. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication. You will always be the perfect Franky for us.
