The pale ghost sits in his room, hiding, waiting for the owner to walk in. Little did he know, the pale ghost was found to exist by the owner long ago. And that the owner, never minded his presence at all.

Maybe the ghost was never trapped by the room, but by the belief that he was unwelcome. He mistook silence for resentment and distance for rejection. Yet all along, the owner had already accepted that some echoes never fade. The saddest part isn't that the ghost remained- it's that he spent so much of his existence hiding from someone who had stopped seeing him as something to fear. Sometimes we become prisoners of judgments that were never made.
