Hey so I haven't been on wattpad in quite a while... Since 2017 I think?
Slot ha happened since then. I've graduated high school and I'm almost done with university, with just 1 year left !
I was thinking of either starting a podcast or writing again. But the big question is what should I write?
I reread my published book, and it's very cringey and that is expected. We definetly wasn't in the greatest of headspaces back then . 16-17 year old me would be proud of where she is at right now.
Again, I'm not sure what to write about. Should I write a bit about what uni is like so far ?
Noone is going to see this message so I will send this to the void that is wattpad's algorithm.

@ Goldenapple3 No problem. I understand the algorithm and amount of reads can seem daunting, but there is more than one way leading to Rome ;)
And yes, I get where you are coming from with the lockdown. It can really put a damper on your passion. But on the other hand, just talking to people on Wattpad has helped me a lot in these times. So, if you ever want to talk about writing or anything else, feel free to pm me.

@Goldenapple3 hey! Thank you so much for your advice <3 it means a lot ! It's been a while since I've been on wattpad due to school and whatnot, and also trying to find a passion for reading again since lockdown, it has been a bit challenging. I'll definitely keep your advice in mind about the algorithm and in writing. Also, congrats on getting into the Wattpad Stars program! That's amazing !

@ Goldenapple3 Hi, I know this might seem random, but I got here to thank you for adding my book to your reading list and saw this message.
My advice; write what you want to read. Forget the algorithm. I know it sounds dumb, but trust me, I speak from experience.
My break out story here on Wattpad was 'Diary Of An Archaeologist' in which I shared stories about my work as an archaeologist. It won a Watty, got me into the Wattpad Stars program and helped me find my author's voice.
Right now, I'm still learning a lot as an author and my journey is only starting, but I am glad I started it with something that is close to my heart. That passion is going to shine through to your readers.
