The wind is cold tonight, the sun lost to the stars once more. 
          The breeze hurts, biting against my skin and I cry
          I cry for the life we'll never have

The sun is hot on my skin like your lips against mine. 

The moon is bright like I wish our future was. 
          But the future is dark and empty. 

I wait for warmth under the tree where you first kissed me. 

My hair is dark again, just like when we first met. 
          
          
          I hope you think it's pretty. 
          
          
          Please say I'm pretty.... 

Today it's cold, like the way you used to look at me
          
          
          It almost makes me miss you

I wait for you, under the sun, basking in its beautiful glow. 

If you were a color it would be red, fiery and passionate just like your soul.
