Hello, I'm Ashleigh Wilkes. I was a reader longer before I became a writer. I was appalled at the deluge of books here that romanticized cheating. These monsters who abused and humiliated their spouses only had to wink and smirk and flash those "Greek God-like" looks for the doormat female leads to forgive them in the blink of an eye and jump straight into bed with them. There was hardly any grovelling, and the cheating was swiftly glossed over.
I wrote Karma, my first book, out of frustration and fury at the depiction of these pathetic, shallow creatures --- one could hardly call these caricatures "women".
All women --- even fictional ones --- deserve loyalty, fidelity and respect.
We women are strong, brave, and beautiful, and we have dignity and self-worth. We are not toys to break or doormats to be trampled on.
My books were plagarised and I deleted my account. I came back after a long break, and rewrote Karma.
Do check it out, as well as my other books.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
