Hello, I’ve been wondering about the heat and what is going to happen in future chapters and I just want to vent but feel free to completely ignore this. I’m sure you already have it figured out and maybe even written already but I can’t help but having my mind running wild.
My first option to avoid shit from hitting the fan would be for them to find a way to avoid giving in. Either by just extreme self control or by willingly separating for the duration of the heat. Another idea is that Axle miraculously manages to make her fall in love in two weeks and they just “make love” as he puts it, but that seems very unlikely to happen.
This takes me to the second subgroup of ideas and this concerns Noah. Here Adelaide would convince Noah to take her somewhere she can hide for the duration of the heat. That way, they cannot get to each other and there is no temptation.
And the third idea is that at some point between now and the beginning of the heat, they sit down and talk about this. It would be at this point that Adelaide consents to having sex with Axle if it comes to a point where she cannot control herself. This way no one could claim she was raped and she can clearly explain that it is just sex and there are no feelings attached.
