I’m so sorry for the long hiatus, I haven’t forgotten Sasha and Xiaoli!
I recently underwent surgery for my cancer diagnosis and am pleased to report that I am now cancer free! I’m planning to get back to writing soon!

Hi everyone,
I got some bad news yesterday. I have been diagnosed with cancer. I will be having surgery to remove it soon, hopefully that will be curative and I won’t need further treatment. I plan to continue working on Scion in the meantime, but updates will probably be a bit slower.
I’m sorry for the delays, but don’t worry! I’m not abandoning Sasha, Xiaoli and Macha!

Sorry updates have been so scarce! I have been struggling with some scary health stuff in the past few weeks and I just had a wisdom tooth out yesterday! (Laughing gas is amazing though, I swear I became one with the universe )
Anyways, during all the treatments and bone marrow biopsies and appointments, I’ve still been thinking about Sasha and Xiaoli! Don’t worry, one more chapter before we go to Cairo and the real fun begins! Glad you’re still here for the ride. ☀️⬛
