Sorry for the late response.
I tried to report the issue through the help center, but I wasn't able to submit the report successfully. The on-line report took was the only option that allowed me to send a report at the time.
I think you should consider leaving a review on the play store or apple store app explaining the problem.
It might help get the developer's attention faster, since they seem to be slow to respond to reports.
