Guh, I haven't updated in a while, but the newest chapter is still being slowly worked on. It's currently at 1k words. I've been caught up in spending my time on other things IRL so I felt like I should make this announcement to whoever looks/views my profile as a reassurement that the story isn't abandoned.
Also there is no chance that I will ever lose a chapter. I write these in Google Docs and it's saved in a folder on Drive.
