Parenting advice:
Do not snap at your child for infodumping about their latest fixation. Calmly explain to them that you want to talk about something else or subtly change the subject. It’s never ok at yell at your kid for sharing their interests with you.
Thanks for ruining my mood and making me feel like I’m a burden each time I open my mouth, mom. Guess I’ll stick to only talking about school.
