Hi, I just finished reading your story and I loved it so much! Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic. The tension and raw emotion in the scene at the library especially the moment when Lilia is confronted by her harasser was so gripping. The way you captured her fear, the oppressive atmosphere, and the kindness of the strangers who stepped in to help would translate beautifully into visual storytelling. I could already picture the panels: the dimly lit library with its dark wooden shelves, the harasser looming over Lilia’s desk, and the moment of relief when the mysterious men intervene. It’s such a powerful and emotionally charged scene! I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d love to draw your story into a comic. No pressure, of course. I just think your work would look awesome in comic form. The dynamic between Lilia and her harasser, the tension-filled atmosphere, and the emotional depth of Lilia’s struggle would make for a stunning visual narrative. Plus, the quiet, vintage charm of the library would be a dream to illustrate! Hi Sarah, I’m literally deeply sorry for replying that late. I tend to forget about this conversation section with the little interaction I get on my profile. I’m glad you reached out though. As for your offer I’m so flattered. Being a fan of comics and webtoons myself, I can’t imagine those pictures I had in my head while writing coming to life as art. But for now I really would like to focus on gaining more experience as a writer. Ophelia is only me second book and although my works aren’t getting that much attention I’d like to find the problems and work on them. I hope you do read the whole thing though. Maybe after getting a full vision of it you might change your mind or find better ideas. And if you’re still interested we might discuss it further. Love, Grace.
