I love science fiction. I read a lot of it and try to write it.  I've been writing science fiction for years. The stories I write range from science fiction/fantasy to hard-core science fiction. 

I write adult and young adult science fiction. I tend towards longer works of fiction. Two of my novel manuscripts started out as short stories. I have completed four first drafts of novels that are various stages of redrafting. One of my novels is currently a huge 230,000 words.
 
Two of my manuscripts are thrillers set on other planets where humans battle for survival. A third would easily fall into the category of space opera - action/adventure story set in space. And A fourth is set in an Australia threatened by climate change and nuclear war.
