I was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. I came from a family of migrants who moved from El Salvador to Australia for a better life. Growing up, my passion for the arts coupled with my interests in pop culture have influenced my imagination to create stories to captivate and inspire others. I predominantly write speculative fictional narratives, although my work has ranged across a number genres and conventions. Specifically, my writings have expanded to incorporate themes that I am closely connected to. My work is a way for me to give agency to characters who are usually seen as a supporting character - giving them the agency that they wouldn't be usually afforded by other authors. I see myself as the characters I am giving agency to.
