My lovely followers,
          
          It has been too long since I last updated Kiss Me, Connor Kenway, but still, I have never intended to abandon this story. I have indeed been working on the next chapter however, at a much slower pace. 
          
          Many things have happened in my life since I last posted here. I got a job, worked at it for three years, got into graduate school for astrophysics, and have been working hard at school since. And yet, KMCK has always been in the back of my mind. I’m always thinking about the love that is going to bloom between Mikaela and Connor. I’m thinking about all the details of their future and how to reach the end of this book. Slowly, word for word, I write the next chapter.
          
          This book has been a passion project for over a decade now. I want to finish it and add it to my accomplishments. I want to finish it within the next year.
          
          To all my followers reading the book since day one and to all my followers who have just started reading it, I thank you. Truly, I thank you with all my heart. I thank you for your kind comments, your excitement for the next chapters, and for hanging on with me even though I’m slower at publishing chapters than George Martin publishing books at this point lol. 
          
          Your love and support make my heart soar! I hope I have been able to do the same for you all as you read my story.

          I apologize that this next chapter is taking a while to release, it's just a very long chapter! Already up to 20 pages and I haven't even finished writing the "core" points in the chapter! I can only imagine how much of the filler will add to the page count. In any case, thank you as always for being patient, and I can't wait to post the next chapter!

Hello all, 
          
          Just an update since it's been a while since I last posted. I am currently writing the next two chapters of KMCK and am kind of.... Stuck.... The next chapter that will be coming out is almost done, just another page or so, but I am struggling to finish it off properly. I am sure the words will coalesce eventually, but I'm at a block. However even though I'm in a block, I've decided to move onto the next chapter. So two chapter may be posted back to back :D 
          
          As always, thank you all for your patience and your support. But the journey is only halfway there, and I hope you have been enjoying it as much as I have been.

Woohoo!! KMCK has now reached 10,000 reads! I’m so excited and can’t wait for you all to read the rest of the story! Thank you all for the incredible support you have given me through the years, I feel truly speechless!

          I have essentially finished the next chapter of KMCK, however.... I keep reading it over and over and over and over and over (you get the point) and I just feel it is.... Missing something. I want this chapter to be absolutely perfect in every way. I am going to need some time to mull the chapter over, edit it rigorously, and then I will post it. 
          
          A goal of mine is to make you experience all the emotions as if they truly were real. Yes this is a fanficiton fantasy world, but I want to portray the emotions as raw and real, and I want the readers to feel them too in a way that makes sense. For some reason, I am jumbling my words together and can't put my finger on the correct selection of words to portray a specific emotion. This is just due to me pumping out these chapters at a speed that I haven't before, and the words in my head become messy. This is why I heavily edit my chapters at the time I'm writing them. I need a few days, even weeks, to mull it all over. 
          
          Does this make sense? Lol. 
          
          I'm so excited for this book. I have always known the direction I want to take the story, but now that I'm in the second half of the book, I now have a crystal clear vision of what I want to write. 
          
          Thank you all for the support. Seeing your comments and votes encourage me so much... I can't describe how giddy I get when I see you all love the story.

Hello to all,
          
          I am thinking that I am going to make my chapters a bit shorter so I can update KMCK more often, I generally always liked to make my chapters about 40-60 minutes long. However, I am almost finished with the next chapter (trying to get it out by today!) and I can already tell it's a lot shorter than the previous chapters. In the long run, that just means there will probably be more chapters than planned, as I am splitting up the content between them. I am excited to publish more often so there isn't as much of a wait time for you all!

          Yes! That's right! A new chapter of KMCK was just posted! I'm so excited to show you this one because a part of the reason why I take forever to post (aside from many other reasons) is I always try to make sure that I am doing my best to convey particular emotions throughout my story and write Connor as true to his character as possible. I am constantly discussing it over with friends and asking for their advice, watching cutscenes from the video game to understand his personality better, so I obsess over making these chapters the best I can. Because of this obsession, I even go back to old chapters that I wrote years ago and improve them. 
          
          My entire goal of writing KMCK was that I wanted a more realistic approach to Connor and how he would act in certain situations and how he would develop a relationship with someone. 
          
          To be honest, I think I'm only half way done with this story. But I truly want to finish it soon, since you all have been waiting so patiently. I really cannot thank you all enough for being so kind and rooting me on. I love seeing your reactions and that you guys are still following this story. 
          
          Seriously, you guys are fantastic.

Hello my dear followers, I am soon going to have the next chapter of KMCK up. I still want to reassure some of you that I will not give up on this story and I have no intention to do so. I have been writing this story since I was 16, and now I am 22. Slow and steady wins the race, right? 

Yes, that's right folks, the next chapter of Kiss Me, Connor Kenway is up and posted! So excited to finally have this finished, and I will do my best to get the next chapter up within a month or so. Enjoy!
