          	Hello there, everyone! I don't know who (if any) of my old followers might still be floating around out here in the ether...
          	
          	It's been a long time. Without dumping TMI on you, all I can explain for my long absence is that, following the birth of my son almost 2 years ago, I entered a prolonged period of physical and mental health crisis. Pregnancy and birth essentially 'broke' my health, and I endured life-threatening medical complications from 2024-2025. Even after my body stabilized, my mind took a long time to heal in the aftermath. I can't claim to be fully healed even today, but I am recovering, slowly, with the love and support of my husband and son. 
          	
          	What does this mean for GreenScholar Tales, TBoT, and my writing in general? Well, I don't know. Only recently am I starting to get to a place where writing and creativity feel even a little bit feasible again. I would like to start writing again, if only for my own restoration and enjoyment. 
          	
          	If any of you are still out there, this is the GreenScholar, saying 'Hello'. 
          	I hope you are all well. <3

            WELL THEN! I apologize for my long absence!! Without trauma-dumping a mountain on you, I will say that I have been in a long battle for my health since giving birth to my child almost 2 years ago. It's been a long road, but after many ambulances, surgeries, and hospitals, I am starting to finally get back to a place where writing and creativity doesn't seem as impossible. I might even try to put pen to paper again in the near future here. Thank you for waiting for me! <3

@ifw_viktor Haha it's not a rude question at all! Actually no, TBoT and my LOTR works are completely unrelated. :-) TBoT has been my original creation since long before I got into fanfiction, but I definitely indulge in LOTR fics on the side.

Hello everyone!
          
          What's this?? The GreenScholar!? Crawled out from under her rock???!?!
          Yes, I know...I have literally been away for almost 2 entire years now. I'm afraid/pleased to report that...life happened. ^_^* I met someone, bought a house, got married, adopted a puppy and two kittens, and am now pregnant with our first child. So, needless to say, things have been a little busy in my corner of the world. 
          Although I can't promise when or if it might happen, I do harbour ambitions to one day return to writing, and maybe even try my hand at a re-working of TBoT as a series! 
          For now though, I am one tired wife, dog wrangler, and soon-to-be mother lol.
