i'm doing my yellowjackets fic and i literally don't want to kill any of them but i don't how i would have the show go if they didn't die (that's a lie, i have vague ideas) what do i do

i'm doing a The Wilds fic, what should be the cause of my character being sent to the island? the traumatic thing is either a home invasion or a close-call school shooting? the non-traumatic option is just that her family thinks she's lonely and can't talk to people and so she gets chosen to go to improve her "social skills"

i kind of want to do a yellowjackets fic where the oc is a trans guy but doesn't say anything until he is in the wilderness and also has a crush on both jackie and shauna

@GreyLantern honestly if you want to do pre-canon scenes I would just dive right into those! maybe you could start it off with a scene of your character with Jackie & Shauna (think like the scene where they’re getting ready for that party?) & maybe your character is sorta zoned out at first, that would set the idea in place that they’re close to Jackie & Shauna but also show that there may be a disconnect there or smth missing to show that he doesn’t quite ‘fit in’ if that makes sense?

since your fic is so good, how do you recommend starting it because i want to include some pre-cannon scenes but i'm not sure how to start it. any advice?
