I don't know why but every RWBY fanfic always have this :
          	1. Immediately meet with Ozpin
          	2. Ozpin always ask about joining Beacon, strangely we, as reader insert, accept it without doubts
          	3. When someone sad, team RWBY JNPR or Someone good on beacon always rushing hug
          	4. EVERYONE IS YOUNG, ranging between 15-18
          	5. Horny RWBY everytime, easy to blush, except Ruby
          	6. HAREM EVERYWHERE
          	7. When said reader is buff looking, muscular, or anything similar, we look like a twunk
          	8. Complicated outfit, heightened-sense semblance, OP-looking weapon

@AloneWolves But, if it makes you feel any better I hate the stories where they either a character bio chapter or when the character’s name is (Y/N). Like it’s not that difficult to come up with a name.
