Querying agents has been so hard and I miss writing for fun. In the meantime, I have some new ideas I think would be great for Wattpad. 
          
          I did republish my 2018 NaNoWriMo project, “Beloved Nothingness.” I still think of that story constantly and would love to continue it at some point. Hopefully you’ll also see some new content coming very soon. 
          
          Having readers and friends enriches the writing process so much for me. I haven’t posted work here since I was in high school, and now I’m graduated from college (where I studied writing, at that). I’m working full-time, living on my own for the first time, planning a wedding, and constantly procrastinating edits for agents on my traditional publication project. I miss this community and how much it enhanced my life. Just wanted to pop in and say “hello” again!

It's my seventh anniversary here on Wattpad. I can't even believe it, honestly. It's been seven years since I wrote my first full novel, Glitch, on a Kindle Fire wherever I could. It was fantasy, purely because I wasn't allowed to read fantasy in 2012. 
          
          If you're curious, here's a little update about my writing.
          I'm currently working on a romantic suspense with the working title "Of Hearts." It's about a serial killer's daughter who falls in love with the detective who's supposed to be hunting him down. 
          
          I started it for my commercial fiction class in college, and it's completely consumed me. I wrote way more than I had to during the school year and I'm still regularly writing this summer despite 50+ hour work weeks. 
          
          It's been four years since I even updated Skin Deep, so needless to say, I've grown quite a bit as a person and a writer. Of Hearts won't ever see Wattpad because I hope to traditionally publish it someday. But if you liked Skin Deep and you're interested in crime as much as I am, I'm always looking for more beta readers. You can always reach me at greyzonepages@gmail.com. 
          
          Thanks for seven great years, Wattpad. I certainly miss having so many people encourage me through the writing process, but I'm excited about the great possibilities in the future.

Update: I unpublished Skin Deep for a couple months.  
          
          I've been battling with it ever since.  I've asked some people to reread it and give me guidance, as my own inner critic has been rampant and I'm afraid I'll butcher the original story with edits.  
          
          So I apologize for the notifications as I republish the chapters.  But I'm happy to back.

I just went through some of the comments on the last few parts of Skin Deep (surprise - I combined some of the chapters for the second draft, but put in extra fillers at the end so I wouldn't lose comments that were actual chapters in the first draft) and I'm in tears at the words you readers had for my novel. Hi there, I was just curious as to where your story "The Glitch" went? I've been trying to find it for ages now as I had read it a while  ago and would love to read it again!:)

I am officially halfway through rereading/making notes with the sticky note and calendar method I invented myself.  I wish I could upload pictures here, honestly!  I'll have to make a little post about the process soon.  I've noticed an incredible amount of changes I want to make and I'm excite for where this is going.

I would love to hear of any Wattpad stories you readers like.  I'm struggling at the moment.
