Did you find that all the professional, corporate writing created a sort of obstacle to creative writing? I feel like it has for me. Technically I can write, people tell me that I write well but they are business people. It seems like I write too precisely for storytelling when I read my own writings.
Except erotic stuff, for whatever reason.

I'm also about two and a half years out from an affair so maybe it was a little therapeutic too (though from what I know most of the love scenes in that one took place in a parking lot at work in a pickup truck...which, I have been assured, no one at work could possibly know about).
