Reminder that Episode 97 of A Friend Comes Home is out now!

So recently, I've gone back and found my previous announcement from August 9th, 2023 that has a episode list for Season 4 of my book A Friend Comes Home. Here is an episode list of possible working titles for the possible TAG! Season 5 of the book 'A Friend Comes Home'.
          
          If you haven’t already read it (I recommend), Season 4C (the Season 4 Conclusion) has recently started with S4E18 being published on today (December 7th, 2024). Season 5 is still in the works as I remain motivated to continue writing. However, this post is also to announce that Season 6 is in the proposed stage with a "Movie Special" to take place after S6E26.
          
          For now, here are the current proposed titles for TAG! Season 5 Episode List as the book enters its third decade of when each section is set in:

1 Week to go until Season 4C of A Friend Comes Home begins!
          
          This will be the last part of Season 4 which will introduce some new vehicles and maybe a plot twist as the decade of the 2060s comes to an end.
          
          Just like Part 1 and Part 2, this Part 3 of Season 4 will conclude with a 2-Episode special. Not only that but it’ll also feature Episode 100 of the book! Never did I think I’d ever get this book to 100 Episodes when I restarted it back in 2022 but here we are at the end of 2024, 2 1/2 years later and I’ve edited 117 Episodes in total.
          
          The Season 3 rewrite is under way with Season 3A completely rewritten but it will not be updated until the rest of the season follows. After that it’s onto Season 5 and finishing the writing for that. Season 5 will be completely published by the end of 2025 (fingers crossed).
          
          Anyway… for those who my not know/forgotten here are the episode titles for Season 4C as show in the “Season 4 Plot Descriptions” part of the book;

Hello Everyone! Hope you all having a good Summer!
          
          As previously stated, you may have noticed that Seasons 0-2 of A Friend Comes Home have been updated to become slightly longer than before. This is because I decided to finally properly rewrite Episode 0 for the first time since 2018 (when I was 13!) and it's now a piece of work I'm proud of. 
          
          Seasons 1 and 2 have been extended to give a bit more description in setting the scene rather than a wall of quotations with a second or two between them adding a little bit of description. Season 1 more so than Season 2 due to Season 1 also being writing originally in 2018 and being updated first in 2020-22, where my writing style has slightly changed since then.
          
          This Summer has also allowed me to start looking at doing the same for Season 3 and going over Seasons 4A and 4B to make sure they're up to scratch. Season 4B in particular as it begins publication this weekend! Details have gone out on the "Season 4 Plot Descriptions" part of the book. However, here is a brief rundown here;

          Seasons 0, 1 and 2 have all been updated for the last time adding an extra 6 hours of reading time on average.
          
          The biggest change is coming from Episode 0 which over doubled in length from 15k to around 31k words that has been split into 11 Parts clearly shown.

          By the end of 2024 the hope is for Season 3 to have been updated for the last time and Season 4 to have been completed and had a final proofreading session done by me.

***PLEASE READ***
          
          I’m halfway through writing Season 5 and one thing I’ve noticed when doing Season 4 and Season 5 is how much my writing style has changed. Writers Block is starting to set in with Season 5 so what I’ve decided to do over the Summer is take a break from Season 5 and look back at my older work aka Seasons 0-2.
          
          Season 0 and 1 were written in 2018 and I feel like they’ve needed a rewrite for a while (particularly Season 0). Season 2 was written during COVID so while I’m more happy with it I’d suspect there’ll be a couple of tweaks.
          
          Season 0 in particular is where I’m losing most of my readers as they see that work and make the quiet reasonable assumption that the whole book is going to be like that when it really isn’t — particularly why the Prologue has changed so often recently to what is now gonna be its final version you see now.
          
          My focus has begun however on Season 1 and I’m now halfway through it. To put it in a little bit of perspective, the old length of Episodes 1-13 was 42,217 words. The new length is 59,916. The reason for this is due to proofreading and adding more description to go with the dialogue like in Season 3 onwards.
          
          Hopefully I’ll be publishing these changes all at once on August 17th but this is going to be a flexible date. My main focus at the end of the summer is to get Season 4B published so please be patient if you wanted to do another read through of AFCH!
