**April 2026 UPDATE**

          	Happy Easter, all!

Since my January update, I have been working tirelessly on London: Code Black Season 1. I am happy to say that I have completed Season 1A and started on the first couple of episodes of Season 1B.

Having learnt my mistakes from Octonauts: Deep Frontier, it has taken me four months just to write 14 episodes and with three months until I begin publishing the chapters, I can confidently say that it'll be done in time to a high standard. To maintain a high quality of work, some episodes went through as many as six drafts before I was happy with the final version.

The plan is, once I have finished writing London: Code Black Season 1, I will move back to Thunderbirds: The Omega Initiative to do a redraft, as the last time I touched it was in early 2025, which is way over a year ago now. I know for a fact that there will be some things that I would like to change in the special, especially after I've done Octonauts and London, as there will be details from those that I would like to integrate that I hadn't even thought of when I first wrote the special back in December 2024.

Now, this Saturday marks the beginning of Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home Season 6B (the last confirmed season at the moment). I'm still unsure whether I will continue with Season 7, as I don't have a complete idea of the season's story arc yet. A decision about it will probably be made in the Autumn, which will give me a few months to write it out for publishing in Spring 2027.

This brings me to Octonauts: Deep Frontier Season 2 and London: Code Black Season 2. Again, a decision on that will be made in the Autumn after the conclusion of London: Code Black Season 1 on August 31st. It all comes down to both motivation (as if I try to write with writer's block, you're not going to get a good read out of it) and feedback (as if you don't want to read it, then there isn't much point in my writing it).

As always, I will keep you guys updated as I write.

**MARCH 2026 UPDATE**

Hello! First of all, apologies for the radio silence this month; it's been very busy. This month has marked the end of Season 1A and 6A of Octonauts: Deep Frontier and Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home, respectively and London: Code Black is over halfway through writing of Season 1A.

The schedule shared in December 2025 remains on track, with Season 7 of Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home still to be confirmed.

I won't be able to get the plot descriptions for Season 1B and 6B up in time, but I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on them.

On April 11th, Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home Episode 144 (Abominable) comes out, followed by a two-part opener on April 22nd of Octonauts: Deep Froniter Episodes 14 and 15 (Fugitive Protocol).

Hopefully, in my April Update, I can provide more information, as I'll be less busy.

As always, I will continue to keep you guys updated as I continue to write.

          Many Thanks,

**FEBRUARY 2026 UPDATE**

And just like that, we're already a month into 2026!

London: Code Black Season 1 is moving slowly. Work has been busy so far this year, and I've only managed to complete the 3-parter opener. The aim is to get at least another 3 episodes written this month, and by the looks of things, most of the writing will be done over Easter, when I have some proper time off. It is my first time writing a 3-parter, so I hope that I've done the plotline justice and it isn't too long/tedious/repetitive. I remain confident in the August 2026 release of London: Code Black, which takes place during the events of Thunderbirds: The Omega Initiative.

Now, you may remember that in my June 2025 update, I mentioned several projects on top of O: DF and L: CB, including one called The First Train. To prevent me from burning out while writing L: CB, I have been planning and storyboarding The First Train, which takes place in 1915-1919.

To make it clear, The First Train is NOT part of the Greyseal9 Universe; rather, it is something completely different. This project is something that got me into writing in the first place, 10 years ago, when I was 10. Looking back at the plan I originally had, plus the first few chapters I wrote (as stated in my June 2025 update), it was pretty good for a 10-year-old, but poor quality for me now. Therefore, I've deleted the chapters and replanned the book. So far, I've done a prologue and the first chapter, but I am already immensely proud of them.

The idea is that The First Train will be the first book in a series that'll run for four trilogies, following events from 1915 to 2026. It is a project I don't expect to release for a while, as I'm taking a lot of care with the writing and planning. Even working on this first book, there are still many holes in the lore that I'm yet to fill. The series title, you may ask? Well... it called Sodor: Engines of Iron.

As always, I will keep you guys updated as I write.

          Many Thanks,
          Grey

**January 2026 UPDATE**

Happy New Year, all! Since my last update, Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home Season 6A has started (most recent is Episode 134 - Deception) and Octonauts: Deep Froniter has premiered (most recent is Episode 4 - Blood Tide).

In this month's update, I'd like to officially announce that Octonauts: Deep Frontier Season 1 is entirely written. I want to start by saying that these past few months have been both painful and fun when it comes to writing. It's been a pain, cause I've had so many ideas for what I could write, but also fun, as I get to try and put all of my ideas down.

I am not a professional writer, and I have a full-time job as well as some studying on the side. Therefore, most of my episodes are often no more than 2 drafts. Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home is greatly helped by the fact that most elements come from SatNavDan's version on fanfiction.net, but, of course, there are some changes compared to what he and I have written. Octonauts: Deep Frontier was written entirely from scratch, so it took me longer to complete, while most episodes had only 2 drafts. Upon reflection, especially in Season 1B (EPS 14-26), this clearly hasn't worked, and there are several episodes I'm not happy with that need to be edited with a 3rd draft before they start coming out in late April.

This brings me to London: Code Black Season 1. Having learnt my mistakes from Octonauts: Deep Frontier, I am going to make sure each episode is perfect before moving on. It is especially important because multiple episodes will occur the following day in the timeline (hence my first-ever 3-parters for the season's opening and closing, which you may have spotted in my December 2025 update). Consequently, though, the prologue alone is now onto its 4th draft, and I haven't even started on the 3-part opener. Luckily, I have until August to finish this, but the process is clearly taking its time.

Please bear with me, but 2026 is gonna be a great year!

          Grey

Less than a week to go until the premiere of Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home Season 6!

As previously stated, Season 6 is the last season I currently have planned but I do have some ideas for a possible Season 7 that’ll occur after the events of Thunderbirds: The Omega Initiative.

On that note, a reminder that my other book, Octonauts: Deep Frontier Season 1, that begins building up to this movie, will begin on Christmas Eve with a 2-part Opener. An update on the writing is that I’m currently working on Episode 22.

I do feel like some episodes are rushed at the moment in the effort to get the season completed so I can move onto writing Season 1 of London: Code Black. Therefore, if I get time I will probably come back to doing some edits on Season 1B (EPS 14-26) after I completed writing London: Code Black Season 1.

2026 is gonna be another busy year with more episodes than ever, with my current publish schedule being my "December 2025 Update".

I look forward to reading your comments on what you think about my upcoming projects and as always I’ll keep you updated as I continue writing.

**NOVEMBER 2025 UPDATE**

Almost a month since the conclusion of Season 5 of Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home, and a lot has happened in that time. We've had the Season 6A Plot Descriptions released, which provide a brief prelude to what Season 6 is about, as well as some descriptions of what'll be happening in Episodes 131-143.

A week after that, I published a new book called Octonauts: Deep Frontier, which is set in the same universe as Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home. This pilot season will focus on the build-up to events for the 2026 Special - Thunderbirds: The Omega Initiative. If it is well received, then a Season 2 could be on the cards, but nothing is confirmed.

I completed writing Season 1A this week, hence the Season 1A Plot Descriptions weren't released last week (November 8) as I'd hoped, but rather this week (November 15 @ 08:30 GMT). The plan is to have Season 1 entirely written by the New Year, as this'll allow me to focus on creating a mega-release for Summer 2026.

In my August 2025 Update, Octonauts: DF was revealed as the first part of my "epic" when it comes to Thunderbirds: TOI. I can now reveal the second part of that by announcing, alongside the publication of Thunderbirds: TOI, that there'll be another new book, which will follow the effects on The Shade in Europe, called London: Code Black.

It'll follow the events of disgraced detective Chase McCain, who is summoned back from exile. He discovers his city under siege by an enemy armed with obsolete technology that cuts through modern defences like paper: The Shade. They orchestrate a campaign of chaos that no algorithm can predict and no firewall can stop. As International Rescue battles catastrophes across the globe, McCain must assemble an unlikely team as they race to uncover a conspiracy that reaches from the abandoned tunnels beneath the Thames to the corridors of power across Europe.

In my December 2025 update, I will release the schedule for what 2026 will look like.

Ladies and Gents that is it!

Season 5 of Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home is now complete with the 2-Part Season Finale “Broken Hearts” out now!

Stay tuned next week for the Plot Descriptions of Season 6A, which will begin with a 2-Part Opener “Grief” on December 20th at 08:30 BST.

Thank you for all the support this year with Season 5 and I hope you will agree with me that Season 6 is gonna be bigger and better. Episode list to follow!

Happy Thunderbirds Day!

The 60th Anniversary is finally here, and since my last update, Season 5B has continued with Episode 127 - Hidden Danger being published on Saturday (October 4th) at 08:30 BST.

Writing for Octonauts: Deep Frontier is well underway, with the first 5 episodes having been written. It is slow going, but I want to make sure that it is perfect. I can't wait to hear what you guys think of it, with the Season 1A Plot Descriptions being released at the same time as Thunderbirds: A Friend Comes Home Season 6A Plot Descriptions. As always this'll occur the week after the conclusion of Season 5B.

Despite this, I am open to ideas, so if you would like to get in touch, please feel free to do so on Discord (@grey4719), and I'll take it into consideration. Additionally, I'm happy to discuss all things Thunderbirds and more.

As always, I will continue to keep you guys updated as I continue to write.
