At The 11th Hour, On the 11th day, in the 11th month.” These are the words that signify the importance of November 11th, 1918; the Day where WWI officially ended at 11:00am. Although I could be wrong, I believe most people have forgotten the historical importance of this exact time in history. After five years of the most devastating war at the time, Imperial Germany was forced to sign an unconditional surrender in the French city of Versailles. The Great War ended at that exact day. The War that ended with approximately 15 to 20 million people dead, with almost half of the dead being civilians, had officially reached its conclusion. However, back then World War I was referred to as something completely different. Back then, it was known as “The war that would end all wars.” This was due to the fact that the amount of gruesome conflict and unfathomable deaths was so horrendous, many people thought it was IMPOSSIBLE for a war like this to happen ever again… Fate is always willing to give humanity a taste of cruel irony. 20 years, 9 months, and 21 days after The Great War ended, Adolf Hitler Launched a surprise invasion into Poland on September 1st, 1939. 20 years, 9 months, and 21 days was how long it took before WWII began. Let’s take a moment to imagine something.

@Grimcreeper58 Lest we forget. Here's to the dead and the next one to die. We must never forget those who gave their lives so we wouldn't have to so let us raise a Toast to those who have died and those who have lived so that we may remember and know the price of war and of freedom.
