Hi, @Grovelbitch!!

Thank you so much for reading "Myths of choice"! I hope you've enjoyed it <33

I love when readers leave comments on my story. It helps understand what works and what doesn't. So, I want to thank you truthfully! I'm happy to see that you care for Laetitia.

In another note, I suppose I did really want to make all my readers angry at Haedes.

I completely agree with the sentiment.

He is nothing short of rude towards Laetitia.

He is a man who thinks he is a monster undeserving of her love. He doesn't have the tools to properly figure out his feelings for her. Also, he has been lied to AND witnessed Laetitia acting like a villainess. In his mind, there was no doubt about it. So, he acted like a jerk. Which is not fair, but understandable.

But, as I'm sure you agree, I LOVE angst and grovel. He will have to crawl his way back to her heart.

I hope I can make you root for Haedes by the end!! Nothing would make me happier than having you along for the slow burn!!

Okay so after reading the authors bio on 7days she says her stories are based off of her life experiences so I got to thinking that perhaps the author is actually Ava in this story which would make sense why Ava is described as some femme fatal and somehow written as if we should feel sympathetic towards her plight as a mistress and Emily is written as a complete doormat and with the way David is always so mesmerized by her beauty lmao

@ChristinaValentine7 that would make sense, honestly. Emily is practically an NPC (like a background character in a video game, who does nothing and has no agency). It’s so dissatisfying. I truly don’t understand why any author in the 21st century would write such a weakling for a female lead. I feel like there is going to be a plot twist where we find out David and Ava are soul mates. There is no way he isn’t in love with her. He may not have said the words but he did literally everything else a man in love does.
