Okay, so. I had an idea after finishing Arcane S2.
          
          MC is the son of a disgraced Pilty inventor who took his own life after his life’s work was deemed ridiculous and impossible by his peers.
          
          Vander, pitying both father and son, takes the orphaned MC in.
          
          The MC is with Vi, Pow, and the boys when they find the crystals for the first time.
          
          Things happen. Crystal falls. Explosion. But, when the crystal explodes, shards of it shoot out and gravely injure the MC when they get embedded into his head and heart. He ends up in a coma where his consciousness ends up in the body of his alternate self in the timeline where {SPOILER! SPOILER!} and he spends a year in that world before being ejected back into his own body several years later.
          
          When he awakens, he’s met with Heim, who tells him that he’s entitled to an inheritance left behind by his father.
          
          Now, with the obsession and funds required to pull off the impossible, he seeks to construct a mirror capable of viewing parallel dimensions so that he might find that perfect reality once again.

I’m honestly surprised my Rwby/Destiny story is still getting any attention. I kinda gave up on it cause I thought it was just an amalgamation of OC cringe.

Here’s an Idea.
          
          RWBY story until it's not. Oc Mc is from the RWBY Universe but is sent visions in his dreams of an invasion from another universe. 
          
          Given mental blueprints of weapons to combat the invaders. 
          
          Arms important people with the means to fight the invaders.
          
          Full-on invasion eventually happens and Mc fights a recognizable villain.

I be ’n like crazy tbh. I’ve obviously been in a massive slump as of late story-wise.
          
          Probably just gonna keep throwing ideas at the wall and see what sticks.
