I have found writing almost therapeutic, it feels like it lets me get lost in fantasy for a few minutes a day.
I worry that I am guilty of trying to escape reality in a silly story though, I have been having rough months, writing has helped.
If you have been thinking of writing something, do it, on a private google doc, on Word, on a note app or a piece of paper, see how it feels for you, if someone is going through a rough patch, it may help. If everything is great (I hope so) you may discover a new hobby.
