Hey! How are you doing friend? If people aren't supporting that doesn't mean that you'd too stop helping yourself. After all, being a writer means to convert lone time into an enjoyable experience. Then why did you give up so quickly?
People don't care about you until you show them the results. Keep working and honing your skills, one day everyone would acknowledge you for your efforts. Show them that they can put their faith into your works and read it.
I believe that if only one tries to improve themselves everyday, their efforts don't go to waste.
