Wendy and Kevin is a staggeringly beautiful animated musical romance feature film from director Mamoru Hosoda (Wolf Children) that intertwines plots and characters from the two stories Home Alone and Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. This epic cinematic achievement follows Kevin McCallister (voice by Ashleigh Ball), a mischievous 8-year–old boy who falls in love with a new girl named Wendy Wu (voice by Shelley Longworth), a rival restaurant owner’s long-lost daughter he rescued from Yan-Lo (voice by Tim Curry), a evil scientist who creates the virtual creatures called Digimon: Digital Monsters, whom they both make friends with at the same day. After the tragic death of his father and his family’s restaurant is destroyed, Kevin enter a daredevil stunt game show where he was being forced to team up with his vengeful older siblings to go on the war against Wendy and her brothers by his controlling mother (voice by Catherine O'Hara).
