I was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario to a mother who was quite young but fought the idea of abortion.  Life was not easy.  I have an extensive family both blood related and legally related (I am adopted), but I refuse to give in to the pressures and let them defeat me.  My native heritage is only a hazy recollection of ceremonies and art and I intend to learn the ways of my people.

After adoption, I finished a high school education with average marks and went off to college where I battled depression and my grades fell.  I finished half of the one year program and then found work where I spiraled into debt.  I had many dreams but writing has always been my savior and soon my passion.

Just this past summer I moved to Montreal to be with my sweetheart and have been given the wonderful opportunity to write.  Hopefully, as I explore the ways of writing, I will be able to produce stories that inspire people through difficult times, this has always been my goal in life.  Why should one person suffer alone? They should know that there is someone out there who cares for them.  Life is important, and we make of it what we will.
