Gwenan Haines is the author of Vertigo and Risking Eternity. After working in Washington, D.C. for many years, she turned to writing fiction. In addition to her novel and novellas, she has also published stories and creative nonfiction in several literary-type magazines. She loves to travel and has visited Italy, Sweden, Germany, Russia, Greece and other countries. Her favorite destination? Too tough to call, though she has vivid memories of sleeping on the deck of a Greek ferry and staying with nuns in Venice. She collects old books, colored glass and complicated recipes she can't actually make.
