Can we PLEASE talk about Shawn Mendes TT
Like... no one, and I mean NO ONE except him and BTS has ever dropped an album that raw, that honest, that painfully beautiful.
The man literally canceled his entire world tour in 2022 to protect his mental health, stepped back, healed, and then came back in 2024 with an album that feels like reading pages straight out of his heart.

          	this is the legit

Why do people always assume the worst? What if they’re simply friends or relatives? The constant trolling and baseless speculation are exhausting. Yes, they’re idols... but they’re also human beings who deserve privacy and respect.

Take Soobin’s recent incident, for instance... when someone threw a phone at him during an event, and he instinctively threw it back. Later, he clarified that "those weren’t MOAs, they were sasaengs." That alone shows the difference between genuine fans and people who have no regard for an idol’s boundaries.

And honestly, how are people so certain it’s even the idol they’re accusing when the face isn’t visible? Like in that so-called “Kai hugging a girl outside a bar” clip... the face isn’t even clear, yet people confidently jump to conclusions and spread it like it’s fact. It’s embarrassing how fast misinformation travels when people crave drama more than truth. Or the Soobin and Beomgyu clip, where Beomgyu’s face wasn’t visible for even a second, but people somehow decided it was Winter. The desperation to create drama out of nothing is honestly pathetic.

Then there’s Yoongi... slightly drunk, stumbling outside his home.. and suddenly, fake fans caused chaos online, acting as if it’s some sort of scandal. Everyone gets drunk. Everyone has off days. But the moment an idol does something remotely human, people lose their minds.

At this point, the lack of empathy is disturbing. Making light-hearted jokes like calling someone your “husband” or “wife” online is harmless fun, I do it too with Yeonjun, but believing that or crossing real-life boundaries is delusional. Obsession isn’t admiration. This toxic behavior doesn’t make anyone a fan; it just dehumanizes the very people they claim to love.
