@ELLIOTT_707 u made a strong point. I agree with u bout the heartache, but here's the thing Drew wasn't thinking of the heartache she was causing Bree. All what she was thinking about is keeping Bree safe at all costs even if it meant to distant herself from her. Also, the desicion that Drew take is what kept us anticipating for that moment when they'll actually make a real contact. N to mention that desicion got us emotionally involved as if we ( the readers) were the ones going through that situation. I think it was a smart move to make drew take such a decision.
