Separating has now become impossible nowadays. I don't think separating the creator/ artist from the art is the equivalent of problematic, but considering the fact that Vivziepop, Thomas Astruc and J.K Rowling are very problematic, it now makes it seem impossible.

Vivziepop (for drawing an underage OC of zoophiles/bestiality, years ago) (I saw it on Tumblr and I feel disgusted) (She also drew a nazi OC years ago) (Aside from the fact that she thinks Grope and SA jokes are funny)

J.K. Rowling (For being transphofic and harming trans people)

Thomas Astruc (Making a racist comic of Ghetto Blaster, putting racial black stereotypes and putting the Rising Sun of Epheremeral of South Korea, blocking people who disagree with him, claiming the fans are sexist for wanting Adrien to be the focus, insult the people who dislike Marinette and like Chloe, etc.)

          I could go on.

As for Gabriel, I tend to be on the fence. People say he wasn't redeemed, but some people say he was redeemed.

Redeemed or not, Gabriel still got away with pretty much everything with the crimes that he committed (terrorism; child neglect; and abuse (emotional and mental)) and got zero consequences, and the fact that Marinette sympathized with him all because "Oh boohoo, my wife is dead" and "because of Adrien, we want Adrien's happiness" is beyond me.

That, and don't get me started on how she forgave Felix and Nathalie; those were also borderline terrorists.

Anyways, Happy Pride Month and Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, HDN.

@lauragirltime1234 I hope Adrien finds out the truth eventually. Mari can't hide this lie forever.

I can try to give Thomas Astruc (and by extension the Chloe haters in that regard) the benefit of the doubt that there some people who don't want to change (which fair) but when it comes to Chloe, then it's just done poorly, because it falls apart when other characters who have done far more worse things than her (Felix did the same thing, if not worse in that regard and got forgiven, André her father is somehow the victim, Ivan's father gets a second chance despite being a criminal with no redeeming qualities, Emil was xenophobic and racist towards and is forgiven and likes french fries, not counting Gabriel even though Marinette forgave him) get redeemed with no effort or feel guilt or remorse for their actions.

It's one of my biggest gripes when it comes to redemption arcs in MLB, they treat redemption arcs as get out of jail free cards without giving them consequences or meaningful growth.

Is it possible for people to repent for their sins? Yes, it is, but you have to go on a long road to improve and change, while having to hmforgive yourself and those who you have hurt. (At least to me).
