CHAPTER 4
That evening I stayed in my room and cried. If John would tell my mom and dad they might never let me ride him again! I grabbed mr.snuggles and laid down on my bed and cried. Few minutes past and I stopped crying and it was quiet, until I heard outside the door, "mom, dad I need to talk to you." It was john! That snitch! I ran to my door so I could hear better, he told them everything, there's no way I'll be able to ride my horse again! I ran back to my bed and I burst out crying I let it all out, I couldn't old it in much longer! I stopped once I heard a knock at my door. "Come in" I said quietly. "Jessie, John told us." Mom said as both her and dad came and sat down on my bed. "Well johns a big snitch." I mumbled as I played around with mr.snuggles. "Jessie, why did you get on that horse when both your mother and I told you multiple times not to yet?" Dad asked, as you could tell he was a bit frustrated. "I'm so sorry! I just wanted to start gaining a bond with him! I should have never done what I did!" I cried and screamed! I couldn't stand it I was so upset so leaned forward and hugged my mom and let it all out! "Shhh it's okay Jessie, what you did was wrong, and you will be punished for it, but we are so glad you did not get hurt!" Mom said as she hugged me and messed with my hair. "Jessie, how about we make a deal?" Dad asked. "What kind of a deal?" I asked as I let go of mom and whipped away my tears. "If you come up with a name for that horse we'll let you start riding him." Dad said as he pushed my hair behind my ear. "Are you serious?" I said cheerfully but still had a few tears in my eyes. "Yes, now goodnight kiddo, we love you," dad said as he got up and kissed me on the forehead. "Yes sweetie, we love you and sweet dreams!" Mom said as she kissed my forehead too. "Night my mom night dad, love you!" I said as I laid in my bed. Tomorrow first thing I would pick a name for my horse.
