I'm the second ship of the King George V-class battleships, the Prince of Wales. I was commissioned on the 19th of January 1941 along with my sister HMS Duke of York on the 9th of November 1941. I will never forget the day on the 10th December 1941 I, HMS Prince of Wales and battlecruiser, HMS Repulse were sunk by land-based bombers and torpedo bombers of the Imperial Japanese Navy. "The taste of victory is always sweet, though sometimes, victories come down to nothing but luck. In defeat, a horse may stumble even though he has four legs but will run once more to reach victory."
