Haru Nikko (日光春)

So if y'all are wondering, I've decided to do some personal revamping of my platform as a great way to kickstart this year ✧˖° I know the public isn't gonna like this but change has been kind of a slow-burn for me. 
          
          It is ugly, subtle and unexpected. I want to go by this creative and genuine image that many people don't see often.
          
          There is no instant glow-up or successful transformation. Instead, what you get is a chubby goth chic who ends up getting muscular in contrast to losing weight, giving herself a good screeching cry and finally learning how to make professional art. At the same time, I'm also experiencing premature greying due to genetics and existential dread lol!ꉂ (≧ヮ≦)
          
          Anyway, I'm planning to finish "AMANDI" until late June so I can already work on a new project which is slated for November. May the rest of the year allow us to heal and give us more blessings (づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ.☘︎ ́˖

Christmas ain't over yet because surprise! The holidays actually span up to the Twelfth Night, which falls on January 5th ❅.⊹₊ ⋆❆‧⋆☃︎
          
          While I'm currently hyping up the BIOMETRICS series, I still haven't forgotten about AMANDI so don't worry! Let's hope things go smoothly as the series nears its conclusion before summer ₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅⋅˚₊‧

          I know others might be weirded out by the schedule especially since the first part of Chapter XIII was released right before New Year's Eve. I always make sure to have plenty of time to work on my drafts. 
          
          I am also gonna be super busy starting this year so without giving too much away, let's just say I got offered an amazing job in Dubai and will be working on my next book which is set to release this fall |｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

[MOTIVATIONAL POST ✨] 
          
          
          
          I would like to call this decade as my WIP (Winner In Progress) era. I believe people could get used to seeing someone’s raw emotions and struggles leading up to that success. 
          
          I don’t want anyone to think that the only ones who are meant to publish their works online are those who are already perfect. 
          
          If you’re one of those people who were able to enjoy BIOMETRICS or any of my older works until the end despite its flaws, congratulations! (*ˊᗜˋﾉﾉ *clap clap*
          
          We live in a world where society often expects quick results. Instead of celebrating every small progress such as getting out of bed everyday while struggling with depression and the second runner-ups at a local contest, we only focus on the winners and the ideal moment where you’re able to overcome your personal demons. 
          
          That’s what my platform is all about — you’ve gotta go through the awkward phase before you get your major glow-up. Listen! Progress is just as important as the final product. 
          
          If you’re so used to seeing someone win in everything (let’s say winning the Wattys), you just end up setting yourself up for disappointment once that expectation isn’t met. 
          
          We are all trying our best albeit in our own way. Just because it was easy for you, it doesn’t it’s gonna be the same for me. We shouldn’t have to raise another generation of self-deprecating adults who think having a thousand readers is nothing without being on the New York Bestselling list. 
          
          Starting in 2026, let’s all learn to be kind and understanding. Be supportive even to those whom you deem to be slow and mediocre. Because at some point, a lot of us started out as amateurs ourselves.

          I just got super busy cleaning the house yesterday just in time before New Year’s Eve rolls in. How I wish I could have some superpowers that allows me to lift couches and mop the ceiling effortlessly! Those things can come in handy, y’know ( ＾∀＾)

          I know the overall reception for the recent chapters hasn’t been so great especially how I noticed that others seem to have just DNF’d (Did Not Finished) — or maybe it appeared that way because of those annoying ads ruining everyone’s reading experience.
          
          Either way, it’s about time this book reaches its conclusion. Maybe give it 2-3 more chapters right before summer (or winter if you live in the Southern Hemisphere). I hope y’all get to see it through ‘til the end ( ＾∀＾)

          I almost had a mini-heart attack there! I thought Wattpad just cancelled me when I found out that I happened to be logged out of the app. Fingers crossed that I get to survive on the app 'til next year and beyond ಥ_ಥ
          
          As part of the Year-End special, to my loyal TCOTRB and AMANDI fans, the first part of Chapter XIII of "AMANDI" is set to release tomorrow Sunday (06:00 GMT+8/09:00 GMT+11). 
          
          Now, I better get back to reading a few books that I promised myself to do. I am currently at Chapter 58 of "The Peculiars' Tale" by @AnakniRizal (which btw is a Filipino YA supernatural mystery novel) before moving on to "Her Sister's Vengeance" by @Baraatu_Musa, "Atlantis Academy: The First Element" by @AutumnKalquist and "Heart In The Stars" by @TheSmileMaker (which I both manage to reach Chapter 6).

          Today on December 26th is Boxing Day! It is basically a time when many people offer boxes of gifts to poor communities. To most people, it’s an extension of Christmas. 
          
          It is also funny to see that while it’s cold up north, it’s blazing hot over places like Australia. Anyway, I won’t be very active until New Year’s.
          
          I’ve gotten a lot busier these days and no doubt 2026 is gonna be full of unexpected challenges. I hope to join a couple of writing competitions next year so wish me luck ☆〜（ゝ。∂）
