i'm part of the lucky population that get to answer "yes". of course, we're don't have the closest relationship on earth. and i still keep things to myself, so much so that it may feel like my parents don't entirely know me. but they remain loving and caring despite all odds. they're still here kahit justifiable namang bumitaw sila. i love them... and i'm rather confident to say "they love us too" :>

i have attachment issues ಠ ͜ʖ ಠ you'd think that after everything i've seen and been through, i would be extra wary with my decisions and have less of that easy-trusting-attitude but nope. it just made me want to keep trying ಠ◡ಠ maybe if there was a major subject that required the student to study about love, i'd be bringing home a summa cum laude award.
