I cannot fathom that it's been a year today since Liam passed away. The intimacy of being a teen girl in love with a band isn't something you don't know unless you know. I'm forever grateful for Liam and I have missed him every day this past year, and I will for the rest of my life.

Our fabric of time was short from the beginning.
I'm heavily editing S1 at the moment and I like to look through the other seasons to make sure my characters' growth align with their starting scenes, and Season 7 is one of my favourites so I come back to it a lot.
I'm not sure if I ever said it anywhere, but I named the new character this series - Liam Leighton - after Liam Payne. He is one of my favourite people in this world. The entire TBFTB/TGFTG series means the world to me and I love when I get to have references to people, things, and experiences from my life in it. I wrote this book in 2020 during the lockdown when the world felt very distant and unfamiliar which is something a lot of the characters navigate through in this series, and I wanted to create a character that offered light and hope to the protagonists during it. So, of course I named him Liam.
Liam is only a side character in this series, but he does have a big part to play when it matters most. I like the little tie it has to something that means a lot to me, and that I did it all those years ago.
And one day when I publish this one for real, I'll dedicate it to him. To Liam. ♡

I just wrote Episode Two, Part 1 for TGFTG Season 2 and I want to cry for my girl so bad. I've never wanted to jump into a book and rescue a character more... Then I remember that I'm the one writing it, and I literally could just not put her through it....
