@WhispersOfTheWindOG From what I've observed, Wattpad usually recommends your book more if you tons of hashtags so don't be afraid to add many because it will help a lot! Readers will also be more enticed to read if your book have around 10+ chapters already uploaded in, views usually pick up when you publish your 5th chapter. Other than that, I don't really know nothing else. Yandere fics are quite popular here so maybe that's the reason my stories grow? I just publish books and chapters any time that I want and things follow most of the time. So maybe we can add familiarity of the author too then. If people knows your username, they're more prone to click on a story that person published lmao. But I think the most important part is engagement, talk to readers if you can! They will be prone to spamming your inbox with chapter votes in different books wwww.
I just got back to writing after several months of torture in College—now I have to force myself to get enamoured with the ideas of Yandere men and develop the needed brain cells to start writing once more.
I swear, once the moment I achieve that, you guys will get tons of updates. If I fail just like I constantly do like these past few months and years—well, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
(Crying inside because I just realized how much I just regressed with the ability to think and write about stories. This is really really bad.)
