Seriously, the overly cutesy, stupidly shy Mary-Sue characters really need to die. They are not cute. They are not adorable. They are not relatable. They make NO SENSE. Stop writing this type of character. They completely and thoroughly ruin what was a promising book. 
          
          Needless to say, but I will say it anyway, I will not continue to read your book. DNF'd.

@-cieuxgris I've been lucky I haven't had to DNF too many formally published books, but fanfiction is a different story.

@-cieuxgris I have reached the point where I will leave a book if it's bad. I have read less than one chapter and have dropped the book.
