I’m a firm believer in separating an artist from their art. I have my beliefs and you have yours and I think it’s important to acknowledge and respect the boundaries of others. With that, I never intend to bring politics or other controversial topics into my writing as that is not the purpose of my writing. It’s meant to bring joy to people’s lives and a peace to mine.
